The class is designed to empower children to think and create outside of the box (or should I say with the box).  Students are given the tools and materials necessary to inspire wonder from both unexpected and ordinary sources. We explore a variety of mediums, e.g., paint, clay, pastels, wire, recycled materials, forms from nature, etc. Each session will incorporate art history, and at least one project will be inspired by an artist, a time period, or a culture. Students help in the decision process for this project and many others.
